Conflicts money owed between the Netherlands and indonesia behind the close door

There is arguments between the indonesian government with the Netherlands behind the close door, its about the agreement at that time at Round Table Conference in 1949 in Dan Haag, Netherlands. The indonesian government already paid billions of Gulden (Dutch currency at that time). Its very interesting that this case wouldn't be publish to the international interest because of regarding on both side involved in Human Rights Abuses to all Dutch colonial (15 Federal States including Maluku archipelago who already separately independent from Unity of indonesia in Federal States/RIS, like Commonwealth as you don't confused about it). This is included the UN (United Nation) mistakenly took side to believe in the decision of RTC (Round Table Conference) in Den Haag 1949.

Researchers are conducting a conference to discuss the problems and documentation found as shown in the video link below:

UTRECHT, Saturday 2 February 2019 - Last Thursday a round table discussion took place between the research team of NIOD, KITLV and NIMH, the institutes that investigate the violence in the Dutch East Indies / Indonesia in the period '45 -'50, and signatories of an open letter in which fierce criticism was expressed towards that investigation. The Grauwe Eeuw Action Group, among others, had also signed the open letter and set a number of requirements for the research team, because otherwise the group does not consider the investigation legitimate. De Grauwe Eeuw based this, among other things, on information encountered by members of the group. "We have been investigating this period for some time ourselves and found out that the financial interests played a very important role in the violence that the Netherlands used in their old colony," said Michael van Zeijl, spokesperson for the action group.
“We have also solved a decade-old riddle, because we have come to possess the indisputable evidence that Indonesia has paid at least fl 3.88 billion of the extortion sum of fl 4.5 billion that the Netherlands demanded in the RTC treaty in exchange for their freedom, an amount converted as much as the full Marshall aid to the Netherlands. ", van Zeijl continues" The Netherlands has always sowed uncertainty about whether and how much Indonesia paid, that was also apparent at the consultation table when the researchers were asked whether Indonesia ever paid to the Netherlands. The literal answer was; "There are conflicting opinions about that," and we now know what the facts are, "the activist grins. De Grauwe Eeuw has several documents in its possession confirming that Indonesia paid and where, among other things, it appears that the Netherlands has deliberately committed fraud to the detriment of Indonesia. “The Netherlands has requested a fairytale amount of NLG 6.5 billion during the RTC, but these documents show that a large part of that amount is unfounded.
This part was sucked out by a Dutch top official named Hirschfeld because the Netherlands assumed that not all RTC claims would come through the negotiations and that they were taken care of in this way, "van Zeijl argues. “Let this have a good effect on you. This is just the same filthy Dutch settler mentality that we've been seeing for 5 centuries.

The Netherlands still despises the people they pinch. Look at the commemoration of the dead where they still do not commemorate the victims among the original inhabitants of the Archipelago, who made the Netherlands, but their killers do. While Indonesia has paid for the reconstruction of this country, ”concludes van Zeijl "For our own safety, we have informed various relevant parties and international dignitaries about the documents and made them available to them. We have provided the research team with the information so that they can include it in their research. Because we do not trust the Netherlands we only publish the documents when an independent party has seen them and authenticates their existence. The content of the most incriminating document is the following: "

Indonesian debts

According to a Pia message of 16 May, the financial and economic section of the state committee has set up four sub-sections to study the consequences of the cancellation of the RTC agreements. One of these sub-sections will deal with the debt settlement.

According to the report, this sub-section has the task of formulating a position with regard to the debts that indonesia owes to the Netherlands as a result of the RTC agreements, and the issue of indonesian contribution to the pensions of officials of the former Dutch East Indies government .

Since no indications are yet known about the direction in which this sub-section will work, it is therefore not yet possible to predict which edvies it will give to the government.
Nevertheless, FDI / EF would like to make an assumption in this regard.

It seems likely that the sub-section will recommend that all debts to the Netherlands continue to be accepted in full, while on the other hand cancellation of all debts relying on the unilateral cancellation of the fine does not seem very likely either.

It is likely that DBI / EF will advise the sub-section to honor only part of the debts taken over by RTC. The part that will be rejected is likely to be related to the most recently raised issue by Sumitro of "the indigenous debts imposed on Indonesia". Probably the sub-section will come up with a calculation, which shows that the waiver is canceled. 2 billion does not cover all the costs of the police action against indonesia, in other words that part of the debts taken over by the transfer of sovereignty is of an unrealistic nature, which it will recommend not to accept.

The question is how large this part of RTC debts can be qualified as indispensable in Indonesia. In RTC you have made an arrangement of the debts of indonesian people, which in indonesian opinion should not have been taken into consideration, since these arose as a result of the police actions. According to the Indonesian approach, the total amount involved would have amounted to 3.5 billion. If this arrangement were accepted as a guideline by the sub-section, this would mean that Indonesia would now be rid of an amount of 1.5 billion. The current state of the Indonesian debts taken over at RTC is approximately 640 million. In addition, the part of the loan in 1950, amounting to 240 million, that has not yet been repaid. The total of the RTC debts plus the 1950 loan therefore amount to around 880 million. If the sub-section were to advise in accordance with the Indonesian debt arrangement for RTC, this would mean that the entire outstanding RTC debt plus the remainder of the loan1950 would be canceled by Indonesia. In addition, there would also be an amount of € 1.5 billion and € 880 million. EUR 620 million as an amount to which Indonesia would be entitled.

The question is how indonesia would like to compensate for this. Although contrary to all legal principles, it does not seem entirely impossible that, assuming that the sub-section uses the indonesian debt arrangement in 1949 as a guideline, the indonesian government will seek redress against the Dutch private property present in indonesia.
This means confiscation up to an amount of approximately 620 million.

A different method could perhaps be to fully inculcate the remaining Indonesian pension obligations. However, the capitalized value of these liabilities, to the extent that they have been honored by Indonesia, is less than 620 million. This value is expected to be around 150 million. Indonesia would therefore find insufficient redress for its alleged claims.

The question is what could possibly be done to the Dutch side against a backlash of views.

The answer to this question must unfortunately be very disappointing. Nothing deemes. The result of any direct demarches is already certain from the outset, while the interest of other countries for Dutch financial interests in indonesia, it has now been shown, also hardly yields any results. On the other hand, attempts are still being made to find out how man at RTC arrived at the amount of 2 billion debt forgiven. This is very difficult to ascertain as the final determination was made in a very small commission, which did not produce documents. What has so far been obscured is that it has been substantiated by the Dutch side that the costs associated with the police actions have only amounted to around 700 million. How the missing 1300 million are breaking is unknown. It seems that Mr Hirschfeld arrived at this amount by adding up all debts that he believed could be disallowed due to indonesia. By adding Mr evers, then member of the Military subcommittee in RTC, Dr. Hirschfeld will be contacted as soon as possible.

DBI / EF fears, however, that no matter how much we can prove that the remission of 2 billion covers all or more than the costs of the police actions, this will hardly change anything about the Indonesian plans.

Finally, it should be noted that Mr Sumitro is his notorious article in pedoman of April 24 came to the conclusion that Indonesia has a claim on the Netherlands of 540 million (after cancellation of all debts). This amount is not far from the aforementioned 620 million.

The indonesian government, UN, and the Dutch are worried if the world know the biggest true Human Right Violation to Maluku people reveal, these debt by the indonesian government to the Dutch is because the Dutch gave help to indonesian military in 1950 to attack the RMS (Republic of South Maluku) with heavy weaponry, such as War-Ship, Cannon etc.

https://www.facebook.com/historibersama/videos/1549193008517082/

More info:

Public Speech by John Pieter Souisa, The Supreme Command Center, to
commemorate Maluku independence (April 25, 1950) in April 25, 2019.

Translator by Paul Bastian Souisa

Good evening brothers and sisters from the Pacific / Melanesia and
Polynesia.
Today is April 25 and I will speak briefly at this event commemorating
Maluku's independence day from April 25, 1950.

My name is John Pieter Souisa, a first Nations man from the Moluccas.

I
am a retired navy Officer who served with the Indonesian Navy for
several years, in submarines, amphibious vehicles, destroyers and
section heads in the Armory in Ambon Navy, Maluku.

Ambon, Maluku had been home to Christians and Muslims living happily
side by side for many centuries.

I was involved with the underground movement in Ambon, Maluku, to demand
the independence of Maluku which had been illegally seized by
Indonesia. I was part of the leadership of the Supreme Command Center in
Tanah Air Maluku for the government of the Republic of South Maluku.

In 1988 while still active in the Navy, I was captured by the
Indonesian military and held as a political prisoner in Ambon; the
capital of Maluku. At the time it was under the rule of the Soeharto
government, which had previously led Indonesia to colonize the entire
Dutch colonial archipelago.

Later that year, after being tortured, beaten and electrocuted by
Indonesian military, I was released, but not free from constant military
surveillance as I continued my life.

Leading up to 1999, religion was used by the Indonesian government as a
political tool to cause separation between Maluku compatriots in the
struggle of the RMS (Republic of South Maluku).

Indonesian politics also used this as a way of ethnic cleansing of
indigenous Moluccas in the land of their country.
They used a transmigration program to relocate many muslims from Java
into Maluku, where, until that time, the local Muslims and Christians
had lived together in harmony.

The indonesian transmigration program was carried out without adequate
security, economic stability, or development in Maluku for the welfare
of a dense and irregular population.

Also on the other hand the militarization of Indonesia where the
military controls the government, was used to control the people in
colonial oppression in every aspect of life.

The politics of government in Jakarta was deliberately played through
its intelligence services in every corner of the police and military
corps, which were channeled to create a complaint among civil society on
religious grounds.

In 1999 a holy war 'Jihad' broke out in Ambon. Christians were targetted
with Christian villages

burnt to the ground, and thousands of Christian
people were killed as Moluccans fought for their lives.

I risked my life to sail to Australia to inform the world of the
religious war occuring in Ambon at the time. By January 24, 2000, I
arrived in Australia because of the religious war in my country that
could not be stopped at that time.

My duty in Australia having achieved political asylum, is to inform the
world about the failure of the Indonesian government; the ugliness of
colonialism and their criminal actions against the Moluccas from the
1950s to the present.

Since I arrived in Australia, I have been protected, and cared for by
the Australian government, and have been communicating a lot about
things that need to be discussed.

During World War II Moluccans fought alongside the ANZACS and allies
against the Japanese invasion of Maluku. (Meanwhile, the Indonesian
Government was cooperating with Japan...) There is a garden cemetery in
Ambon for hundreds of allied troops (mostly Australian) who perished
during that combat.

One day, I wish the full willingness of the Australian government as an
old friend to become a mediator to the world through the UN, so that war
crimes and Indonesian colonization in Maluku can end.

It is only then that I can return to my beloved land and pray for
Pela-Gandong (traditional relationship between moluccan Muslim and
Christians.)

Before I conclude my message, I, as an intermediary and one of the
leaders of the Moluccas in Australia, thank the Melanesian and
Polynesian brothers and sisters, who gave their willingness to help
celebrate Maluku's independence, present as an intermediary for the
nation, and support for justice for Maluku which is located between the
tip of the Pacific and Asia.

Especially my thanks to the President of PICSA, Mr. Tukini, Ms Kylie,
and to any who helped coordinate this event.

I hope that with the existence of Pacific Unity through the community,
and its Pacific delegation in Australia, it can become a fertile fruit
for the Maluku struggle and the common good, and the world.

Thank you and accept the greetings of the independence of the Moluccan
people: 'MENA-MURIA'.

The indonesian very upset regarding the news that innocent worker has been murder by the West Papuan army, and the West Papuan believed that the worker is indonesian TNI (ARMY) who worked in the pleasure of indonesia government political agenda to take control West Papua. 'Conceded' in Nduga, Intelligence Work was criticized by retired officers

bro , CNN Indonesia | Friday, 07/12/2018 14:06 WIB
'Conceded' in Nduga, retired Critical Intelligence WorkGeneral Chair of the Army Retired Association (PPAD) Lt. Gen. (Pur) Kiki Syahnakri (left), in Jakarta, Friday (12). (Indonesian CNN / Adhi Wicaksono)
Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - Indonesian Army Retired Association (PPAD) questioned the intelligence performance related to the shooting of a number of workers in Nduga Regency, Papua . Supposedly, he said, intelligence gave a warning about the possibility of an attack considering there was a celebration of Free Papua on December 1.
"The incident in N also seems to have no integration. December 1 is the birthday of the OPM, the intelligence period has no warning to be aware of it, this must be evaluated," said PPAD Chairman Kiki Syahnakri, during a press conference at PPAD Building, East Jakarta, Friday (7/12).
Although he did not know about the current intelligence performance, he believed that an overall evaluation had to be made so that similar incidents would not be repeated. In fact, Kiki accused that there were problems in the intelligence sector so that his performance was not optimal.

"The impression is clearly that there are problems in the intelligence sector and therefore must be evaluated," he said.

In the same place, Chairperson of the Field I of PPAD Soekarno said that intelligence in Indonesia had a good mechanism. Unfortunately, he said, the implementation of the mechanism that had been compiled was not maximal.

One of them is the mechanism for the procurement of Village Guidance Centers (Babinsa) and Bhayangkara Pembina for Security, Order, Community (Bhabinkamtibmas) which have been mobilized by the TNI and Polri in each village. If the mechanism is effective, he continued, intelligence did not "concede" information about the attack.

"If it can be integrated, it will be effective, he can be the recipient of the first information. If it can be organized well, it is good. Babinsa and Kamtibmas are good mechanisms for state security," he said.

It is known that the shooting of dozens of PT Istaka Karya project workers occurred on Sunday (2/12) around 3:30 p.m. The action was carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) at Yigi Aura River in Yigi District, Nduga District.

Until Friday (7/12), the TNI said 16 people were killed in the incident. A total of 24 other people were declared safe, and five people were not found.
